Sunday Gathering
Bridgeport’s weekly gatherings take place Sundays at 10:30 AM in our building at 18th & Oak in the Crossroads – right between Crown Center and the Sprint Center. Our gatherings are a casual, missional environment wired to both foster existing spiritual growth among believers as well as be a safe place for seekers of all bents and shapes to come together and here about Jesus. The core elements you will experience are: Dynamic Worship, Scriptural Teaching & Authentic Community.
Authentic Community
We seek to foster an environment of organic community where authentic relationships can develop naturally into a house of friends. To this end, we are constantly barbecuing, throwing parties, haunting local shops, and hanging at each other’s houses. In addition to organic community we encourage community intentionally through discipleship groups, community groups as well as community forums, Discipleship & Leadership classes.
Kingdom Kids
We have a strong passion to partner with families in the journey of raising children in the image of Jesus and the wonderful reality of His Kingdom. We believe in our children and place their spiritual, intellectual, and emotional development at the center of all that we do. Click on Kingdom Kids to learn more.
Spiritual Growth
Belong. Believe. Change. We believe this is an important sequence necessary to provide a safe environment to grow and belong. All growth whether spiritual, emotional or relational is vital for our life and well being. The role of the church is to provide a context to be equipped, challenged & encouraged in this pursuit. And it is the plan of God for us to lay down our lives for one another to see one another’s destinies fulfilled. This is the joy of our calling to life together and the journey we find ourselves in. We call this the spiritual journey of discipleship and it is at the heart of what Bridgeport is all about.
Community Development & Engagement
We engage in a variety of activities and expressions to have a presence in the face of our city’s most desperate needs. Our primary modus operandus is to partner with existing operations to bring life to the spiritual, physical and emotional needs within the context of Kansas City’s financially destitute, imprisoned, underprivileged and afflicted.

Arts Expression
Located within the heart of Kansas City’s art district, Bridgeport has looked to establish a wide context of artistic mediums. Bridgeport Art Space comes to life each First Friday, featuring a different artist and involving multiple levels of expression within each event. Featured artists have included painters, sculptors, photographers, silk screeners, tapestry artists and a handful of artists that defy classification. Bridgeport also features a collection of concerts and music showcases throughout the year with bands from a large range of spectrums making up our anthology of past guests.
