Community

Bridgeport seeks to foster an environment of organic community where authentic relationships can develop naturally into a house of friends. To this end, we are constantly barbequing, throwing parties, gathering in home groups, haunting local shops, and hanging at each other’s houses. Bridgeport is a great place to connect, make friends and raise families.

Kids

We have a strong passion to partner with families in the journey of raising children in the image of Jesus and the wonderful reality of His Kingdom. We believe in our children and place their spiritual, intellectual, and emotional development at the center of all that we do.

The Arts

Bridgeport loves the arts and looks to express this every chance we get. Bridgeport Art Space comes alive on First Fridays and for other special events and looks to provide a context for artists of a wide array of mediums to showcase their craft as well as provide a venue for music and fashion events.

Neighborhood Revitalization

Bridgeport is committed to serving the needs of Kansas City’s most vulnerable and underserved neighborhoods. Bridgeport Community Development Corporation seeks to work with existing community efforts in community economic development and education to transform neighborhoods from centers of despair and neglect into self sustaining urban villages that are both vibrant and livable.
